Whether you're building a new home or replacing your old system, when you select an XR12 air conditioner or XR12 heat pump, you've made a wise choice in home comfort. Not only are our XR12 outdoor products efficient to operate, they're also extremely durable. In fact, that's something we're known for. Our heating and air conditioning systems give you reliable comfort, day in and day out --- but, they also give you the kind of peace of mind that comes with knowing that our products are designed, tested and built to last.

Efficiency Is Built Right In

Whether you select an XR12 air conditioner or an XR12 heat pump, you can be assured of its energy efficiency. Our XR12 air conditioner has a SEER rating of up to 13.00. SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and measures the cooling efficiency of an air conditioner. The higher the SEER, the greater the energy efficiency. Every heat pump system has an energy efficiency rating, as well. Our XR12 heat pump has an HSPF of up to 9.50. HSPF stands for Heating Seasonal Performance Factor and refers to the efficiency of the heating mode of heat pumps. These numbers add up to greater energy savings for you.

Optional Extended Warranties

Trane manufactures some of the finest equipment in the business, but of course we understand that mechanical components occasionally need repair. Our extended warranty program was designed to give you complete peace of mind for the length of your agreement. Extended warranties cover labor, refrigerant, and other costs not covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty so that you are covered for all parts and labor for the lifetime of the agreement. Ask your dealer for warranty details at the time of purchase.

WHY A HIGHER EFFICIENCY RATING CAN SAVE ENERGY

Estimated Annual Cooling Cost Comparisons
If your current air conditioner heat pump is more than 10 years old, it could be operating at lower than 8.00 SEER. Compare the estimated annual cooling bill of an 8.00 SEER system to that of a new system with a higher SEER,   such as Trane's 12.00 or 13.00. For instance, if the annual cooling bill of an 8.00 SEER system was $1000, it could potentially cost only $675 for a 13.00 SEER system, or an annual savings of 38%. Now, that makes dollars and sense, doesn't it?

Internally grooved, continuous tubes in each circuit help prevent refrigerant leaks while providing low airflow resistance and efficient heat transfer. So corrosion resistant, we back it with a 10-year limited warranty.

9 Powder Paint Finish
Blends well with any architectural style. Baked-on, porcelain-like powder paint covers all louvered panels uniformly, increasing protection from rust and corrosion.

A heating and cooling system is made up of individual parts. And, even though each component is separate, they're all designed and engineered to work together as a system.
