Employee Benefits
This information is for basic reference only. O’Connell
Oil Associates, Inc., reserves the right to change these
benefits at any time.
Medical and Dental Insurance
- All permanent full-time employees (32+ hrs/wk) are eligible
for insurance benefits. The company will pay half the premium.
All permanent part-time employees (20 hrs to less than 32
hrs) are also eligible for insurance; however, the Company
does not share in the expense.
Group Term Life Insurance
- Group Term Life Insurance is a company-provided benefit
offered to all eligible full-time (32 hr min.) employees
who have completed one year’s service.
The Flexible Spending Program
- This program is a special benefit offered by the government
whereby premiums for our insurance programs can be deducted
from the gross pay before taxes thereby increasing the net
pay.
401K Plan - All employees
21 or older, completing one year of service, and worked
over one thousand hours for the year are entitled to participate
in O’Connell’s 401K Plan (or salary deferral
plan).
Vacation - All full/permanent
part-time employees (32 hrs or more) are eligible for paid
vacation after one year of service
Holiday Pay - New Year’s
Day, Easter Sunday, Patriot’s Day, Memorial Day, July
4, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving
Day, and Christmas Day.
Bereavement Benefit - Certain
situations do apply.
